1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using the BENED Customer Support system located at
support.bened.works ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms
of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use
the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including customers, staff, and
administrators, who access or use the Service.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

BENED Support is a customer service ticket system that allows you to:
  - Submit support tickets related to BENED ecosystem services
  - Communicate with BENED support staff through threaded conversations
  - Upload file attachments relevant to your support requests
  - Manage notification preferences for ticket updates
  - Track the status and resolution of your support requests

3. ACCOUNT AND AUTHENTICATION

3.1  You access BENED Support using your BENED Account, authenticated
     through our single sign-on (SSO) provider at auth.bened.works
     (Keycloak). You are responsible for maintaining the security of
     your BENED Account credentials.

3.2  You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information
     when using the Service.

3.3  You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service.

4. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree NOT to use the Service to:
  a) Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent support requests
  b) Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
  c) Harass, abuse, or threaten BENED staff or other users
  d) Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' tickets
  e) Use automated tools to submit tickets or messages without
     prior written authorization
  f) Transmit content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or
     otherwise objectionable
  g) Impersonate another person or entity

5. CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

5.1  You retain ownership of any content you submit through the
     Service (ticket descriptions, messages, attached files).

5.2  By submitting content, you grant BENED a non-exclusive,
     royalty-free license to use, store, and display that content
     solely for the purpose of providing the Service and resolving
     your support requests.

5.3  BENED retains all rights to the Service itself, including
     its design, code, and functionality.

6. FILE UPLOADS

6.1  Uploaded files are scanned for malware before storage.
     Files that fail scanning may be rejected.

6.2  Maximum file size: 10 MB per attachment.

6.3  Accepted file types: images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP),
     PDF documents, and plain text files.

6.4  Uploaded files are stored on secure cloud infrastructure
     (Backblaze B2) and may be retained for the duration of
     the ticket's lifecycle plus our data retention period.

7. PRIVACY

Your use of this Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy,
which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal
information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices
described in the Privacy Policy.

8. AVAILABILITY AND SUPPORT

8.1  We strive to maintain Service availability but do not
     guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows,
     system updates, or unforeseen events may cause temporary
     outages.

8.2  Support response times vary based on ticket volume and
     complexity. We aim to respond within 24-48 hours on
     business days.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

9.1  THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE"
     WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
     INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS
     FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2  TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BENED SHALL NOT
     BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL,
     CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF
     PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR
     INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9.3  BENED's total aggregate liability arising from or related
     to these Terms shall not exceed $100 USD.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BENED, its officers,
directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages,
losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees)
arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. TERMINATION

11.1  We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service
      at any time, with or without cause, with or without
      notice.

11.2  You may stop using the Service at any time.

11.3  Upon termination, your right to access the Service
      ceases immediately. Ticket data may be retained per
      our data retention policies.

12. MODIFICATIONS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes
will be posted to the Service and your continued use constitutes
acceptance of the modified Terms. If we make material changes, we
will notify you through the Service or by email.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona,
United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the
state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

14. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable,
the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the
entire agreement between you and BENED regarding the use of the
Service.
